Study module

The course provides the student with an opportunity to develop academic communication skills and strategies through focused oral skills exercises.

Upon successful completion of the course the student should have
1) requisite confidence and skills to handle academic situations
2) the competence corresponding to the level B2 of the CEFR (the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages). 

The students will engage in oral skills through active participation and discussion of the subject matter.

Students should have completed at least one year of study in Law to provide them with necessary conceptual foundation for comparing legal systems.

Group work and exercises 24 h. Discussion may be conducted in small groups, open dialogue, or by other communication strategies. The student will be expected to contribute her or his opinion to the subject matter being discussed based on the method used.

Active participation in the classroom sessions.

Pass/fail based on class participation.
